I recently purchased a Dell XPS M1330 laptop and when I set it up with my wireless printer HP photosmart, it always inserts a blank page in between every page of text that I print no matter what or where I’m printing from.  I have deleted the printer then loaded it back on and it still doesn’t work.  does anyone know why this is happening and how do I fix the problem?

Hi
set the printers settings to their defaults, does this happen in every application as it could just be a problem with default margin settings or footer making the actual page size larger than the physical size of the paper.

you are going to have to plug it in hardwired and use the driver windows installs automatically it has something to do with the wireless portion had the same problem then plugged it in usb works fine now

don’t forget to reset your network settings on your printer so it doesn’t pick up the wireless connection otherwise it will still print a blank page and set your default printer to the new one that is installed vista is lame sometimes but it is getting better slowly but surely xp wasn’t very good at the beginning either
