I tried to add a range expander, wouldn’t work, deleted it I think. Now my wireless internet will not connect. Have a modem & one laptop is still working fine on it so it is not that. Have got as far as it says that the problem laptop is connected but it isn’t as “cannot display this webpage comes up”. Found on here to try cmd ipconfig/renew – says unable to connect your DHCP server, request has timed out. Using assign IP automatically. ipconfig/all says ip routing enabled-NO, WINS proxy enabled-NO, DHCP enabled-YES, Autoconfig enabled-YES. Now as far as I can get is “acquiring network address”.

try uninstalling and reinstalling the wireless network cards drivers, this will set it back to its default settings. More here on how to do this.
