Even with the Number Lock key on, the number pad does not work. I replaced the keyboard and even went to a USB connection instead of the PS2, and it still doesn’t work. All the other keyboard functions are normal.

in control panel - keyboard - hardware tab - make sure it says it has 101/102 keys, if it still dont work after this, goto device manager and uninstall the keyboard and then right click on computer at the top and scan for new hardware to reinstall the keyboard
we can easily install all codecs but there are downsides to simply downloading a codec pak such as losing thumbnail images findout how to simply just install the codec you need xp vista codec
If you have no sound on DVDs or other media find out how to resolve this problem, also find out more about general sound issues at computer-adviser.com
The operating system not found error message which can give all manner of boot problems can normally be fixed pretty easily, read here for more on this.
