my internet connection is working fine(wireless connection) but my actual internet explorer and firefox will not load. i have went to diagnose problems for both of these applications but it just comes back with a blank notification on what the problem is.  firefox says that it will not allow access due to the proxy settings on my computer. anyone have a clue what i should do???????

if you are working from home its highly unlikely you will need proxy authentication, it sounds as though a firewall is blocking port 80, this can also be applications such as peer blockers i had the same issue until i realised it was blocking all http traffic
