i have windows 7, firefox and an AVG antivirus, yesterday i couldnt see images and i thought it was just something wrong with the connection so i turned it off, but then today it’s happening again. in google images, i get just the last line of images the first two stay blank.. what gives?

I tried to add a range expander, wouldn’t work, deleted it I think. Now my wireless internet will not connect. Have a modem & one laptop is still working fine on it so it is not that. Have got as far as it says that the problem laptop is connected but it isn’t as “cannot display this webpage comes up”. Found on here to try cmd ipconfig/renew - says unable to connect your DHCP server, request has timed out. Using assign IP automatically. ipconfig/all says ip routing enabled-NO, WINS proxy enabled-NO, DHCP enabled-YES, Autoconfig enabled-YES. Now as far as I can get is “acquiring network address”.

Can’t get onto service engines

I am able to get onto the internet, but whenever I try to get onto google, or some other service engines, I get a “Can Not Display” page.

I have been advised by two computer “experts” that I have malware issues. I was told to do a malware check, as well as an adware check. this I have done with negative results.

Since doing the above mentioned checks everything on the tool bar is gone. And I still cannot get onto any service engines.

Any advise you can give would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Before my brother came back my modem/router only kicks me off 1-2times/hour but after my brother came back its been kicking me off 1-3times/5-10mins. I am wireless and he use cable, my house has carpet but I use boxes to avoid it to have contact with the carpet(which some say that can be the reason why). I just went LiveChat with the AT&T technician and all she did is give me a number to call. I don’t want to call because I know I have to wait a long time and still can’t get my problem solve. So I am hoping that I can get some answer here. I am using DSL high speed and my modem/router is 2wire 2701HG-B. And someone told me that it may be the computer’s problem, but I just bought my computer 3-4days ago can it still be my computer’s problem?
