I m using Dell inspiron Laptop 1545, Pocessor Intel Core 2 Duo Prcessor 2.10 Ghz Memory 3 GB, but at some how when I am using Internet, and during work the webpage will b stuck and later on will say Not Responding, and I have to shut down the eXPLORER , RESULTING START THE BROWSER AGAIN, THS TYPE PF PROBLEM I MEET MOSTLY IN ALL HOTMAIL, GOOGLE, YOUTUBE, FACEBOOK ETC….PLZ ADVISE

i tried to open my computer but i can’t access to “documents and Setting”

i only think this happened because of a virus, before i encounter this i inserted a USB from my friend… and then a dialog box suddenly appeared which i just ignored.. still that dialog box appears in my desktop and can’t be removed.

All of my browsers (IE, Firefox, Chrome) hang, upon attempting to reach the Yahoo Main page, or attempting to log on to my Skydrive account… Skydrive explorer also does not log on to skydrive.

It’s not an https issue because Yahoo does not use https to go to the main page. This problem must have to do with other than the browser, so don’t tell me it’s the browser. So what must be common to both Yahoo and Skydrive inside my computer (Windows XP professional)? and please don’t insult my intelligence by suggesting malaware, viruses or the like… all the obvious stuff has been checked… this is why this is a challenge, for people who really know… no obvious registry issues, so what else could it be?

The hosts file contains nothing except the factory settings.

Any ides and thanks for any help offered.

If it is an old computer, if possible, you can try adding an RAM modules, or update graphics card, or purchase a whole new computer package to directly speed up the computer But you can try the normal tips below to speed it up without any cost.

1) Uninstall the programs that you don’t need.
2) Disable some unneeded startup items.
3) Delete the files you don’t need
4) Use the disk clean-up option in Windows to regularly clean up the system junk files.
5) Once you have done the above point, do remember to defragment your hard drive- A GOOD solution to speeding up your computer by effectively managing the files on the hard disk as you can see more detailed information here:
6) Turn off System Restore feature.
7) Regularly scan the computer for viruses and spyware.

All of these are what I always do when trying to speed up my computer. Here, I sincerely hope that they help those who are lookng a solution for their slower computers.
